Yes, there's bias in the media, really doesn't change the facts of the matter though. The sad part is most of the rest of the media doesn't need to do extensive editing (or any at all quite often) to make republicans look like total dbags or morons.

Libertarians are no better. The only difference between a republican and a libertarian is that republicans want the federal government to strip people's rights, and libertarians believe that duty belongs to state governments instead.
